Folding awnings are mounted onto the outside wall of your home. As the folding arms are extended the canvas rolls out in one smooth operation. Our awnings available for many different uses which, depending on the awning type, can either be hand operated, motorised or controlled from inside your home.
When extended the awning has no posts or beams – you and your guests are are free to walk around without bumping into posts, and its safe away from the hands of children! The flexibility of retractable awnings, allows you bask in the winter or morning sun, and then extend the awnings for shade protection during the harshest parts of the day.
Once folded, the awning structure tucks neatly away allowing warm winter light into your home. Accent are installation experts. If you don’t have enough wall support, our team may be able to recommend alternatives such as using brackets to install from roof rafters.
An added advantage to our range of fabrics is, that if you want a lighter coloured fabric for your new awning, but concerned about it getting dirty, then ask us about our self cleaning fabric. The self-cleaning fabric is constructed by applying a coating on the fabric, known as the Permaclean treatment.
The nano-particles in the Permaclean treatment join together to form an extremely dense protective layer that prevents dirt from penetrating the fabric. Rain or simply rinsing with water is enough to keep the fabric clean.
